I've burned through plenty of keys in ARC Raiders, and most of them feel like a coin toss at best. You spot one in your stash, you get that little rush, then you open the door and it's… drawers full of nothing. That's why the Buried City Residential Master Key surprised me. It's only green rarity, sure, but it plays like a shortcut to the kind of runs where your backpack actually feels heavy, especially if you're chasing crafting pieces and browsing ARC Raiders Items to figure out what you still need.

Where the key actually goes

The biggest mistake I see is people treating it like any other random "residential" key and just checking every door in sight. Don't. Take it straight to the Grandioso Apartments in Buried City. You're looking for the northern building, not the lobby doors everyone mills around. The entrance you want is on the first floor, on the eastern side. It's easy to drift past because the lighting and angles in that corner are weird, and the prompt doesn't scream at you from far away. Walk right up to the door until the Master Key option shows—then you'll know you've got the correct spot.

What's inside and why it's worth the risk

Once you're in, it's basically a little residential jackpot. Expect a bunch of places that love hiding blueprints: filing cabinets, drawers, cupboards, the usual "boring" furniture that ends up being the real prize. There's typically an ammo crate, a med bag, and at least one suitcase that can roll something spicy. You'll also notice a Security Breach locker and a wardrobe, which is where I've seen higher-value weapon spawns more than once. One run I pulled a Wolfpack blueprint from a blue suitcase, then grabbed an Osprey out of a kitchen cupboard. That kind of swing is why people keep coming back.

Coins, timing, and getting out clean

Even when the blueprint luck isn't perfect, the room pays. I've walked in sitting around 80k Coins and left over 110k after selling valuables and dumping extra ammo I didn't need. If your pack's empty and you don't get interrupted, a 50k haul isn't some fantasy number. The only catch is timing. Grandioso can be quiet, but Night Raids and certain conditions turn it into a magnet for scavengers. Loot improves at night, and so does the competition, so move fast, don't over-sort, and remember to top off your crafting stash with ARC Raiders Common Material before someone decides they'd rather have your bag than their own.
